Laguna Food Pantry seeks fruit donations from locals yards

Local residents with over-productive backyard fruit trees can make a difference at a time of food scarcity for the Laguna Food Pantry.

The Pantry is experiencing a surge in demand among shoppers and fewer donated groceries during the pandemic. Residents who donate backyard produce allow the Pantry to redirect its tight financial resources for other grocery products.

Transform backyard abundance into a boon for pantry shoppers

Please consider asking your gardener or a high school student to pick fruit and deliver it to the Pantry any weekday between 8 and 10:30 a.m. at 20652 Laguna Canyon Rd. It will be distributed to shoppers, who now exceed more than 100 per day, and include seniors and families stretching their resources.

If you prefer to schedule a pickup, email pantry volunteer Andrea Adelson at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
