Call for artists at Gallery Q 

“Is It Only A Paper Moon? The Seasoned Citizens Show”

Gallery Q at the Susi Q’s newest exhibition is titled “Is It Only A Paper Moon?

Artists ages 55+ from Orange County are invited to bring their art work to Gallery Q on Wednesday, March 18 from 3 to 5 p.m. or Thursday, March 19 from 12 to 2 p.m. Although all artwork is welcome and accepted, works on or of paper is our focus for this exhibition. We will also have a special section devoted to the creative paper work of children from the Boys and Girls Club. Paper works range from watercolors to origami, paper jewelry, papier mâché, paper clothing, collage, diorama, paper sculpture, cut paper, paper masks, paper lanterns, wall art, paper moons and whatever paper works creative minds can conjure. A free Artists’ Reception with beverages and light refreshments will take place on Friday, March 27 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Start your weekend fun with us and invite family and friends for our special visit with former Laguna Beach Mayor Wayne Baglin.

The exhibit will be on display from March 23 through May 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Gallery Q is located in the Laguna Beach Community and Senior Center at 380 Third Street in downtown Laguna Beach. Many art pieces in the show will be available for sale.

Gallery Q, located in the Laguna Beach Community and Senior Center, is a public exhibition space dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the talent of emerging, semi-professional and professional artists of all ages from Orange County.  The gallery shows five to six new shows per year and honors the artists with an opening reception.
